MILITARIA: Approximately 350 lots of military collectibles from various countries, ranging over two centuries. Included are: large group(s) of German, U.S. and Japanese military and para-military medals, badges and cloth insignia. U.S. and German photographs, postcards, propaganda cards, and period publications. Edged Weapons: Nice group of German WW II sabers, U.S. Civil War swords, USMC stiletto, U.S. trench knife and bayonets. Uniforms: Fine collection of German WW I and WW II uniforms including a German WW II Lt. General’s tunic, U.S. pre-war and WW II Army Air Corp and glider/airborne and other uniforms, also a nice selection of Russian uniforms. Special groupings: Two U.S. “footlocker” groups from a USAAF officer, Pacific Theater, who flew B-25s in the CBI theater. A second “locker” group contains the WW II gear of a U.S. Army Lt. who fought in the ETO. Headgear: German WW II helmets, British fancy metal “spike” helmets, U.S. M-1 and later combat helmets and U.S. WW II visor caps and Russian visors. Field gear: U.S. web gear, large grouping of Russian field gear. Aviation: Nice selection of WW I and WW II aviation related prints, photographs. Related reference volumes/manuals: Over 30+ lots of fine military related reference books and DVD/tapes.
ANTIQUES & COLLECTIBLES: Property of two fine Virginia estates, Pennsylvania collections and liquidating antiques dealer. Large collection of fine English and Continental furniture, bronze chandeliers, Renaissance Revival, Eastlake & Georgian style mahogany furniture, fine gilt bronze chandeliers, trade signs, vintage slot machines & coin operated amusements, Bronzes after Remington, fine art and more; Baker server; glass top table by Dunbar; Chickering Baby Grand piano (cracked soundboard); bisque statue of three Graces; butcher block; silver; beer advertising-neon signs & battery ops; jewelry; Part III of Barbie Doll collection; books.
