Two original plaster sculptures by Helen Zelezny-Scholz, b. 1882-1974, Born in Czech.-- A local artists studied and assisted Helen Zelezny’s. She was featured in a book “My Dear Pupils” by Zelezny. In her will, she left the content of her studio including her art works to her students in Rome in 1974. The three works were in Zelezny studio: Terracotta hands (signed); Terracotta of three women with a baby (no signature obvious); Plaster of a family (no signature obvious). The latter can be seen in a photo in the ‘My Dear Pupils’ book (upper rt hand corner), as well as photos of her work (see photos in photo section).
