American tin Mechanical "L'il Abner and His Dogpatch Band" by UNIQUE ART. Piano is 6" T. Lithographed upright piano is decorated with sheet music and illustrations labeled "The Dogpatch 4". Daisy Mae is seated on a chair on front. Papa Yokum seated at side with drum, pipe smoking Mama Yokum at top of piano with baton and L'il Abner leading the band. When wound, various figures move about. Back is marked UNIQUE ART Mfg. Co. Pioneer Toy Makers since 1916. Copyright 1945 by United Features Syndicate. Condition: when wound, all the figures move easily but Mama Yokum. This lot is being sold AS IS.
