Alderfer Auction’s 2-Day Collectors auction continues with Day 2 showcasing significant Japanese metalwork, including pieces by renowned artist Namikawa Yasuyuki from the Meiji-Taisho period, alongside works by Hayashi Chuzo and Hattori Tadasaburo along Japanese satsuma pieces. The Chinese offerings include Qing dynasty porcelain, including famille rose vessels and export pieces, and Chinese silver. Jewelry highlights include a Larry Moses Begay Sterling and a Herbert & Ester Cellicion Zuni, squash blossom necklaces, an 18k YG Topaz and Peridot ring, and a Hamilton Panda Chronograph. Notable offerings include the complete History of Flight series of 100 medals (1973-1977), the Genius of Michelangelo series, and Norman Rockwell's Fondest Memories collection, Sculptors Studio medals, and Hall of Fame for Great Americans at NYU medals. The auction includes several presidential commemorative series, Winslow Homer's America ingots, Shakespeare medals, Bank ingots, and themed collections featuring American history, space exploration, and transportation to include Locomotives Ingots and Worlds Greatest Racing Cars ingots.
