Together we can make a difference! The Bean Bag Food Program strives to fill the gap of hunger that children face when they are not in school. We partner with schools in the Souderton Area, Quakertown Community, and North Penn School Districts to provide weekly backpacks filled with food to help children and families in need get through the weekend. Alderfer Auction has taken on the 100 Box Challenge and will be collecting donations March 1-28 for the Bean Bag Food Program! Employees and visitors are welcome to come to our Hatfield office and drop off donations of these items: Hormel Compleats – 10 oz Microwave Meals, 60 Second Pasta – 7 oz. pouch, Ready to Eat Tuna Salad – pouch or box, Microwave Popcorn, Instant Oatmeal Packets, Canned Pasta, Canned Chunky Soups, Canned Veggies, Deodorant for Personal Care Bags. Visit beanbagfoodprogram.org for a full list of accepted items. Last day to drop off donations by Friday, March 28th at Noon. No expired foods please. All brands are accepted.

Due to popularity, we have expanded our Doylestown hours in 2025! Complimentary valuations are now available at Doylestown Monday, Wednesday & Thursday from 10 AM to 3 PM. Valuations are also available in Hatfield Mon-Thurs 9:00AM - 4:00 PM and Fri. 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM. Appointments preferred, walk-ins welcome. Our March 13th auction was highlighted by the successful sale of Hayley Lever's "Sunset East Gloucester Mass. 1915". This beautiful oil on canvas, featuring an impressionist lakeside scene with windswept trees, a small dock, and a lone figure at sunset, achieved a final bid of $16,000. This piece, with provenance from Christie's Auction House (1/24/1990), is a true testament to Lever's talent! Now is the time to act if you are considering selling your fine art or antiques.
